Canine Country Club ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website caninecountryclubmiami.com. We respect your privacy and keep things simple. The short version: we collect only what we need to answer your questions and run our website, we never sell your data, and you're always welcome to call us with any questions.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, and that's it:
1. Information you choose to send us
When you reach out through our reservation form, by WhatsApp, by phone, or by email, you may share things like:
- Your name and your pet's name
- Your phone number and/or email address
- The dates you'd like to board or the service you're interested in
- Anything else you tell us about your dog (breed, diet, medication, temperament) so we can care for them properly
You only share this if you decide to contact us. If you don't reach out, we don't collect any of it.
2. Anonymous usage data (cookies & analytics)
Like most websites, ours uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages are popular, roughly where visitors are located (city/region level), what device and browser they use, and how they got here. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. It helps us improve the website. It is aggregated and not used to personally identify you.
Why we use it
We use the information above only for honest, everyday reasons:
- To answer your message and arrange a reservation, daycare day, or other service
- To care for your pet correctly (diet, medication, special needs)
- To follow up about your booking or respond to a question
- To understand which parts of our website are useful and improve them
We do not sell your data. Ever. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We don't run advertising networks on this site, and we don't share your contact details with third parties for marketing.
Third-party services
To run a modern website and talk to our customers, we rely on a few well-known services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics — measures anonymous website traffic and usage. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you message us via the WhatsApp link, your message is handled under WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy.
We may also be required to disclose information if the law compels us to (for example, a valid legal request). That's the only other situation in which your information leaves us.
Cookies & how to opt out
Cookies are tiny text files a website stores in your browser. We use them for analytics and to remember small things — for example, that you've already dismissed our cookie notice. You're in control:
- Decline the banner: our cookie notice appears at the bottom of the page; you can simply keep browsing or close it.
- Browser settings: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. See the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
- Opt out of Google Analytics: install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Blocking cookies won't break the website — you can still browse and contact us normally.
How long we keep it
We keep the messages and booking details you send us only as long as needed to serve you and keep accurate records of your pet's care. Anonymous analytics data is retained according to Google's standard settings. You can ask us to delete the contact information you've sent us at any time.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information you've shared with us. Just call or email — see below. You can also stop sharing at any time by not submitting forms or messages.
Children's privacy
Our services and website are intended for adults arranging pet care. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be clearly posted here.
